The Blowing Rock Cabin
So close to downtown Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Built in 1988, the cabin has an incredible stone chimney that we just fell in love with, and the stone continues to wrap all the way around the base of the house. The large covered porch is just the beginning of all the great places to sit and relax to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There’s even a nice yard for the kids to run around in, play a game of corn hole, or just cozy up to a roaring fire and roast some s’mores!
Our family gathering area is in the living room, complete with leather sofa, reclining chairs, large TV and of course the beautiful stone fireplace. This place is so relaxing that the TV rarely even gets used!
The Three Bedrooms in the Blowing Rock Cabin are spacious and clean. Featuring newly replaced and extremely comfortable Zinus Memory Foam Mattress in each of the King, Queen and Two Twins bedrooms.
This may be the favorite, and most comfortable place in the cabin. The Library in the Loft overlooks the Living Room but still gives you a place to escape and enjoy a good book or a cup of coffee in this quiet cove.
Inside the Blowing Rock Cabin you’ll find a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with an open concept and rustic feel. The entire family can be together, whether you’re making dinner, enjoying a movie or just sitting in front of the fireplace with a tasty beverage.
Outside the cabin you find peace and quiet as the property is on the edge of 12 acres of undeveloped land behind us, the large yard to run and play, and even a tree farm close by. Lots of trees around to remind you to slow down and enjoy the natural setting. In the distance you’ll see Appalachian Ski Resort and probably hear Tweetsie Railroad more than a few times as well!
